SCHEMA-2: Effects of autistic traits on scanning patterns for emotional and social pictures

Abstract: The goal of this research is to better understand the impact of social and emotional processing on the psychological well-being of young adults. We are also interested in examining whether individual differences in exposure to stress, including potentially traumatic experiences and response amongst young adults, particularly those on the autism spectrum, may correspond with differences in cognitive processing (that is, ways of thinking, perceiving and learning) and well-being.
