Abstract: This letter formulates an operator-theoretic heat-flow mechanism for BRST projection onto the physical sector. It discusses the abstract BRST framework, the associated constraint Laplacian, the large-parameter semigroup limit, and a truncated SU(2) illustration, while clarifying the unresolved issues that remain for full QCD.
