Targeted Modulation of YAP Signaling: Advancing Small-Molecule Strategies in Oncology and Tissue Regeneration
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: The Hippo-YAP pathway has emerged as a central regulator of tissue growth and oncogenesis, yet remains resistant to conventional pharmacological targeting. Patent application WO 2026/044133 A1 discloses small-molecule strategies that modulate YAP activity through transcriptional complex disruption and protein stability interference. Robust cellular validation across YAP-dependent cancer models establishes proof of concept for tractable YAP inhibition, with implications spanning oncology and regenerative medicine.
