Introduces the effort filter concept grounded in Schmidt and Hunter's (1998) work sample validity meta-analysis, the AI-screens-AI paradox with crown jewel challenge resolution, and artefactual absorptive capacity as a mechanism by which the screening platform accumulates knowledge from contributor interactions.
