InternConnect – A Digital Platform for Internship Management and Skill Development

Abstract: “InternConnect” presents an internship management and skill development platform designed to bridge the gap between academia and industry in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. It provides a unified digital ecosystem where students, faculty, and industries can collaborate seamlessly for credit-based internships, real-time tracking, and verified opportunities. The system connects students with internships that match their skills and interests, ensures authenticity through verified industry partners, and provides dashboards for performance insights. Faculty can easily monitor and approve internships, while industries gain access to qualified, skilled candidates. The platform simplifies internship management by automating report generation, supporting curriculum integration, and ensuring a transparent and efficient internship experience. By promoting skill-oriented and verified internships, it enhances employability, fosters academic–industry collaboration, and contributes to India’s digital and skill-driven growth.
