Abstract: Forecasting the future with LESSR Professor David Gerbing of Portland State University developed lessR to make professional-quality data visualization and forecasting accessible to everyone – at no cost and with minimal effort. Anyone with a computer can freely download R along with its user-friendly development environment, RStudio. To help beginners get started quickly, Professor Gerbing also developed a companion website for students that provides step-by-step setup instructions and numerous practical examples.
