Lissajous Dynamics and Phase Safety in Safe Attractor Architecture
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Safe Attractor Architecture (SAA) defines structural safety in dynamical systemsthrough the preservation of reversibility, bounded information acceleration, and directionalfreedom. In this paper, we introduce Lissajous dynamics as a canonicalgeometric representation of safe motion in SAA. By interpreting safety as the maintenanceof phase diversity among interacting dynamical components, we show thatLissajous curves provide a natural model for structurally safe attractors. Conversely, phase locking and frequency collapse correspond to directional fixation and dangerousattractors in the SAA framework. This phase-geometric perspective offers an intuitiveand mathematically grounded interpretation of structural safety in complex adaptiveand artificial intelligence systems.
