Abstract: This study delved into the jurisprudential principles applied by Sheikh Taher Ben Achour in his interpretation " tahrir and tanwir " "contemporary Quranic Exegesis and jurisprudence" Its objective is to provide a scholarly addition in the service of jurisprudential heritage in general and the Maliki school of thought in particular. Through immersion and exploration of jurisprudential principles, it becomes abundantly clear that Sheikh Ibn Achour employed them throughout his journey. Sometimes he introduced these principles، while at other times، he alluded to them and explained their meanings. This suggests that Sheikh Ibn Achour had a significant contribution to this field، in addition to his expertise in various sciences. It is noteworthy that the interpretation " tahrir and tanwir ""contemporary Quranic Exegesis and jurisprudence "is rich in the utilization of jurisprudential principles and contains a substantial amount of knowledge and research. Its scholarly value is undeniable to anyone interested in Islamic jurisprudence. It is evident that Ibn Achour examines jurisprudential issues during his interpretation from the perspective of a scholar، where he details these issues from the works of the scholars and engages in a comprehensive discussion of various jurisprudential opinions, ultimately leading to his own conclusions.
