Situated at the intersection of development and management science, the study adopts a multidisciplinary approach to analyze key drivers of societal transformation, including complexity, governance, leadership, technology, human capital, education, economic development, health, environmental sustainability, and innovation. It argues that the capacity of societies to balance global integration with local identity is shaped by adaptive systems, inclusive institutions, and value-driven leadership. The paper highlights that ethical governance, social inclusivity, and institutional adaptability are critical conditions for achieving sustainable and globally connected societies. By synthesizing insights across disciplines, the study provides a conceptual framework for understanding the dynamic interplay between globalization and local identity formation. The findings offer practical implications for scholars, policymakers, and development practitioners seeking to navigate the challenges of globalization while fostering resilient, culturally grounded, and future-ready societies.
