Abstract: In this paper, we aim to document some of the methodology that has implicitly arisen in our previous monographs, update the concept of wearer authority, and discuss the possibility of a formal code for the taxonomy. The handling of holotype images is the most detailed aspect of this paper; appropriate for their status as the backbone that describe the vast majority of the tree's taxa. This methodology paper is intended to be one in a long series intended to refine the taxonomy and possibly build toward a unified Code one day.
