P15: What Existed Before Matter and the Spaticle Field : The Origin of Space, Time, and the Physical Substrate of Reality in an Infinite Universe

Abstract: Modern cosmology describes the evolution of the universe with remarkable mathematical precision, yet it leaves the physical origin of spacetime itself unexplained. General relativity treats spacetime as a real, curvature-supporting structure capable of transmitting gravitational waves, but the standard cosmological narrative provides no account of how such a fabric could emerge from literal non-being. Most theories addressing “what came before the Big Bang” remain either purely mathematical or fail to derive the first physical state from any prior condition in a coherent, non-arbitrary way. This paper offers a logically continuous ontological account. It establishes that space cannot possess a terminal boundary and is therefore genuinely infinite. Infinite space must exist in some real condition, which necessarily constitutes an energy state. From this prior energy state of infinite space, the first physical substrate - the Spaticle field - manifests as the primordial matter-substrate underlying the geometric description of general relativity. From this substrate, stable matter, hydrogen, cosmic structures, and eventually biological organisation and consciousness emerge through lawful processes over unbounded timescales. The paper thus replaces creation-from-nothing language with a continuity-based ontology: a derivational chain from a prior real condition to the emergence of the physical world, without violating conservation laws or causality. This completes the foundational layer of the Big Flare-Up Theory (BFUT) cosmological programme.
