On the nonexistence of good involutions on symplectic quandles

Abstract: In this paper, we investigate a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of good involutions on symplectic quandles, which are defined on free [Formula: see text]-modules equipped with an antisymmetric bilinear form. In particular, we discuss the nonexistence of such good involutions under various algebraic conditions.
