Generation of four human induced pluripotent stem cell lines derived from patients with corticosteroid-associated central serous chorioretinopathy
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Peripheral blood from four male patients with corticosteroid-related central serous chorioretinopathy (CSC) was used to generate human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSCs). Non-integrating episomal vectors were employed to deliver the reprogramming factors. All hiPSCs displayed typical morphology, expressed markers of the undifferentiated state, demonstrated the ability to differentiate into the three-germ layers, and exhibited normal karyotypes. These hiPSC lines offer a valuable model to study CSC pathogenesis.
