Year: 2026
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: This case describes the application of ultrasound-guided microwave ablation (MWA) in the management of a solitary breast metastatic lesion in a 59-year-old female with a history of lung adenocarcinoma. Over a 36-month follow-up period, imaging and clinical assessments demonstrated sustained local tumor control without recurrence or major complications, highlighting MWA as a viable minimally invasive therapeutic option for metastatic breast cancer patients.
