Abstract: Penetrating thoracic trauma can result in life-threatening multiorgan injuries that require rapid diagnosis. This case report describes a patient with cardiac tamponade, diaphragmatic rupture, and liver laceration following a stab wound. Computed tomography (CT) was critical in identifying the cardiac tamponade and differentiating it from other thoracic and abdominal injuries, enabling immediate surgical intervention. Successful management was achieved through a combined surgical approach. This case highlights the indispensable role of timely CT imaging in the evaluation of complex penetrating trauma.
