Abstract: Quantitative convergence of weighted ergodic averages We investigate quantitative conditions on a sequence of weights to ensure pointwise convergence of the corresponding weighted ergodic averages. We provide concrete uniform decay rates in Fourier space that guarantee convergence, construct a counterexample at the boundary and propose applications.
