Abstract: This repository provides R scripts, workflow documentation, and aggregate results supporting the manuscript "Finding the Meaning of 'Community' in Nepal's Community Forestry: Geographic and Institutional Neighborhoods across Household Outcomes." The analyses compare geographic, institutional, and geographic–institutional neighborhood definitions using household surveys from western Chitwan (2014 and 2017) and eastern Chitwan (2023). The three outcomes are community forest general assembly participation, reported wildlife problems, and current biogas use. The repository includes analytical code, regression and eigenvector spatial filtering results, residual diagnostics, and geographic-scale assessments. Raw household survey responses, household identifiers, exact residential coordinates, and restricted intermediate outputs are excluded to protect participant confidentiality. Reproducing the analyses requires authorized access to the underlying survey data.
