Abstract: In response to the frequent damage caused by manufacturing and installation precision of tracks and rollers failing to meet usage requirements in wheel-rail antenna mounts, this study begins with the principle of pure rolling motion in wheel-rail systems. It analyzes the structural forms and key design considerations of different antenna wheel-rail systems, calculates actual wheel-rail contact stress using modified classical Hertz contact theory, and validates results through finite element analysis. Furthermore, the research examines the impact of wheel-rail system precision on antenna motion smoothness, pedestal stress concentration, and pointing accuracy.
