Analysis of the Characteristic Parameters of Blasting Vibration Signals in Deep Open-pit Mines
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This article analyzes the characteristic parameters of blasting vibration signals in deep open-pit mines. Using the Muruntau mine as a case study, the effectiveness of millisecond delay blasting in reducing seismic vibrations was investigated. The influence of vibration amplitude, particle vibration velocity, frequency variation, and distance from the blasting center was evaluated based on FFT analysis. Numerical simulations were applied to assess the stress–strain state, displacement, and shear deformation of the slope under blasting loads. The obtained results demonstrated that blasting operations have a minimal effect on slope stability and confirmed the effectiveness of the selected blasting parameters under mining conditions.
