A Universal Boundary--Bulk Scaling Functional

Abstract: Many systems exhibit a competition between boundary and bulk structure. We introduce the morphometric functional. The functional quantifies boundary dominance per effective degree of freedom We establish a scaling theorem characterizing the asymptotic regimes.
