A Classical Field Theory Equivalent to Quantum Physics: The Ouroboros Lagrangian as the Law of Everything Prior to Gravity

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: We present the Ouroboros Lagrangian — a CPT‑symmetric classical field theory of two coupled, Lorenz‑constrained vector fields over Minkowski space — and prove that it is dynamically equivalent to its own canonical quantization via the WBO closure theorem. The theory is superrenormalizable, requires no infinite subtractions, and has only 2–3 free parameters compared to 19+ for the Standard Model. Its stable excitations are chaoitons: time‑periodic solitons with quantized charge (derived from the Hopf invariant) and intrinsic angular momentum matching the electron g‑factor. The measurement postulates of quantum mechanics are recovered through MQED, a time‑symmetric model of macroscopic objects consistent with the CPT symmetry of the underlying dynamics. The theory predicts a long‑range nuclear force quantitatively matching the Sawada anomalies that QCD cannot explain, provides a natural dark matter candidate, and reproduces Maxwellian electrodynamics exactly in the linear limit. We report machine‑verified Lean 4 proofs of the central linking‑number theorems. This paper constitutes a complete, testable, and mathematically rigorous alternative to the Standard Model.
