Gravitational Wave Observations Do Not Falsify Time Field Theory (TFT), But Demonstrate Its Self-Consistency

Abstract: General relativity interprets gravitational waves as tensor transverse waves of spacetime curvature, which has become a core criterion for testing gravitational theories. This paper rigorously demonstrates that such "falsification" arguments do not apply to Time Field Theory (TFT). Based on three-dimensional flat space and the conservation of local intrinsic total speed as its first principle, TFT derives gravity from the spatial gradient of the scalar time field γ, and gravitational waves correspond to dynamical fluctuations of γ. In TFT, gravitational wave detection relies not on tensor polarizations, but on differential modulation of light propagation time via the effective refractive index n=1/γ. Current LIGO observations only confirm the existence and timing of gravitational signals, and do not physically rule out the scalar mechanism of "time field-modulated light speed". Within TFT's axiomatic framework, we present a self-consistent picture of gravitational wave generation and detection, proving that scalar fields can indeed produce observable signals in LIGO. Falsifying TFT using the tensor framework of general relativity constitutes an invalid cross-framework refutation.
