Matter Flux Equilibrium Theory (MFET) A Unified Framework for Cosmic Metabolism, Information Geometry, and Multiverse Equilibrium Dynamics

Abstract: A defining feature of these MFET documents is the commitment to auditing the theory from the inside out. This is the cosmological paper, Each appendix that follows doesn’t just present results — it interrogates them. The framework is repeatedly stress‑tested against its own geometry, its own assumptions, and its own internal consistency. When a derivation fails, it is labeled; when a mechanism is ambiguous, it is dissected; when a result depends on an anchored input rather than first principles, that dependence is made explicit. This creates a rare kind of scientific transparency: the theory is shown not only in its successes but in its scaffolding, its weak points, and the places where deeper structure still needs to be uncovered. Whether it’s the spectral‑decimation audit in Appendix L, the horizon‑kink consistency checks in Appendix O, or the regulator and θ* derivation trail in MFET II, each document demonstrates the same ethos — go deeper, expose the machinery, and let the reader see exactly where the theory stands and where it still needs to grow. Honesty revision: θ* derivation status and Γ₀ provenance corrected to match the θ* Audit (Appendix X); no results changed, overclaims removed. MFET‑I presents a cosmological framework in which the universe is treated as an open, self‑regulating system exchanging matter, energy, and structured information with a higher‑order Parent Manifold through a dense Micro‑Wormhole Mesh. This mesh acts as a boundary interface enforcing equilibrium via a Gaussian regulator and holographic capacity constraints. The theory replaces the cosmological constant with a flux‑driven valve term, introduces information‑coupled gravity, and resolves the vacuum‑energy discrepancy through regulated throughput rather than fine‑tuning. MFET‑I proposes alternative explanations for dark matter phenomena, cosmic acceleration, and several major cosmological tensions, while maintaining full compatibility with general covariance. The document includes new appendices on Planck‑scale transport, anyonic coherent dynamics, and the self‑regulating attractor that links microphysics to cosmological behavior. MFET‑I offers a mathematically consistent, falsifiable alternative to ΛCDM grounded in information geometry and boundary‑mediated flux. This paper is the cosmological companion to MFET II (Particle Physics), which derives nine Standard Model predictions from the parameters established here.
