Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: This record contains the Author Accepted Manuscript (AAM) of the paper "Improving Hospital Process Management Through Process Mining: A Case Study on COVID-19 Clinical Pathways", presented at the 14th World Conference on Information Systems and Technologies (WorldCIST 2026). The paper presents a process mining approach for analyzing COVID-19 clinical pathways with the objective of improving hospital process management. The proposed methodology supports the discovery and analysis of real clinical workflows, enabling the identification of process inefficiencies and providing insights to support evidence-based process improvement in healthcare settings. This manuscript is the accepted version of the paper after peer review and prior to Springer copy-editing and typesetting. The final Version of Record has been published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems series and is available at: https://doi.org/10.1007/978-3-032-32023-0_6 The published Version of Record should be cited as: Ardimento, P., Bernardi, M.
