Topological Information Theory: The Emergence of Genetic Coding via Structural Folding in QGEFT
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: The current Paper 37 benchmark does not claim that full nucleotide biochemistry, RNA world chemistry, or literal symbolic genetics have already been derived on a graph. It does show that a degree-constrained `50`-node carbon backbone in QGEFT can spontaneously fold into a stable topological memory device: the information density rises from `0` to `15`, crosses the template threshold `I_D > 5` at step `13`, and does so robustly across a `32`-seed ensemble with mean final information density `13.88`. In this narrow sense, genetic-style coding emerges as persistent cycle-basis memory of a stabilized folded macromolecule.
