3D Virtual College Campus: An Interactive Platform for Immersive Campus Exploration and Admission Outreach

Abstract: The growth of digital technology has created new ways for educational institutions to connect with prospective students. This paper presents a 3D Virtual College Campus Platform developed for Indore Institute of Science & Technology (IIST), Indore. The system provides an interactive virtual environment where students can explore the campus digitally from any location. The platform is developed using Unreal Engine 5 and includes features such as AI-based NPC guides, Google API authentication, MySQL database integration, and teleportation-based navigation for smooth movement across the campus. Unlike traditional websites, brochures, and virtual tours, the proposed system offers a more interactive and engaging experience through free avatar movement and real-time user interaction. The platform also helps institutions improve communication with students and provides a flexible solution for modern digital campus exploration.
