Carlo Loop Calculus: A Unified Symbolic Framework for Modelling Dynamic Systems
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Carlo Loop Calculus — Version 2.0: The Breakdown‑and‑Rebuild Upgrade Version 2.0 is where the calculus stops being just a modelling language and becomes a full‑blown system behaviour engine. If v1 was the rhythm, v2 is the bassline — the part that tells you what happens when the pattern wobbles, clips, collapses, and then finds its way back into coherence. This upgrade drops four heavyweight components: Contradiction Taxonomy — every flavour of system conflict mapped, named, and structurally explained. Loop Collapse Table — the official chart of how loops fall apart when pushed too hard. Resolution Pathways — the routes systems take to rebuild themselves, transform, or stabilise after a contradiction hits. Operator Safety Grid — the “don’t blow your speakers” guide for operator risk, interference, and failure modes. Version 2.0 is the resilience release — the one that teaches the calculus how to handle turbulence, noise, interference, and collapse without losing the beat. It’s cleaner, sharper, and built for real‑world systems that don’t behave nicely. This version sets the stage for the Version 3 mechanics: vantage‑point shifts, global loop categories, and multi‑stage transformations. The calculus is levelling up, and v2 is the moment it becomes properly adaptive.
