Evidence for a Spatial Memory Kernel in the Geometric Relay: Baryonic Curvature as a Source of Rotation-Curve Residuals

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: This release provides a frozen empirical test of a candidate spatial memory kernel in the Geometric Relay Programme. The baseline is the MOND fixed point plus a global activation term proportional to νMOND−1. After subtracting this activation baseline, we test whether the remaining SPARC rotation-curve residuals are better captured by a disk-like logarithmic memory kernel sourced by the curvature of the baryonic profile. The tested source is Q2 = S0(νMOND−1)|d² ln Vbar² / d(ln r)²|, propagated through a disk-like kernel K2. On the frozen SPARC sample, the curvature kernel improves over the activation-only baseline, beats density-only and local-curvature null models, yields positive cross-validation on average, and passes inter-galaxy permutation tests. This release includes the article PDF, the reproduction script, and a README. The result should be interpreted as A/B-level empirical evidence for a candidate effective spatial memory kernel, not as a final derivation of the full relay field equation.
