Abstract: As the first African nation and the fourth in the Global South to hold this prestigious position, we have a unique opportunity to amplify the voices of women and girls from diverse backgrounds and ensure that their concerns are addressed on the global stage. The W20’s mission is to promote gender-inclusive economic growth and advocate for policies that empower women economically, socially, and politically. By investing in women we can unlock their full potential and contribute to sustainable development. Studies have shown that when women thrive, entire communities benefit, leading to greater economic stability and prosperity.
