Abstract: Technological sovereignty in aerospace navigation has become a strategic necessity in modern defense ecosystems, particularly in the context of increasing geopolitical fragmentation and reliance on foreign-controlled positioning infrastructures. This study analyzes the design, technical parameters, and operational significance of the FGN-100-D2 fiber optic gyroscope (FOG) system developed within the Baykar-Fergana space initiative.
