P60: Rotational Stability of CCEGA Black Stars — Light Ring Damping Overwhelms Ergoregion Instability
Year: 2026
Type: conference-abstract
Abstract: We establish rotational stability of CCEGA black stars despite the ergoregion being exterior to the object (C ≈ 0.63–1.27, P51 v2.0). The light ring damping rate exceeds the ergoregion instability rate by a factor γ_LR/γ_ergo ~ 10⁹–10¹². The suppression arises from geometric factors (δr/r_e)⁵ in the ergoregion-surface overlap. CCEGA black stars are rotationally stable for all masses in the range 4.56–14.75 M☉.
