A Cycle-Projection Ontology of Mass, Distance, and Structure: From Atomic Boundaries to Galactic Halos

Abstract: The central purpose of this cycle-projection framework is to separate physical process from observa-tional chart. Standard formulations often begin from observables already separated into mass, distance, field, force, particle, and spacetime. Here, these are treated as regime-dependent readings of a singlecycle-projection process. The primitive process is a boundary-cycle irruption characterized by onefull-cycle action h, one cycle period Tp , and one propagation length Lp = cTp . Its total cycle energy is:Etot =hTpFrom these ontological primitives, physical distance is defined by cycle-counted propagation D =cTp N , and observable mass is interpreted not as a point-like substance but as the observable projectedsector of a deeper internal reservoir, Eobs = mobs c2 = h/(Nmin Tp ).Within this framework, Euclidean geometry is retained only as a weak-field chart, while Maxwellianfield-current dynamics provides the mechanism by which projected structure becomes physically man-ifest. The same grammar is then applied across scales. At the atomic and nuclear level, matter ismodeled as boundary-active field-current structure rather than as an ensemble of marble-like corpus-cles. At the gravitational scale, the framework recovers Newtonian dynamics in weak field, reproducesthe weak Mercury correction as the first nontrivial near-source residue of projected interaction, andextends to a halo-like large-radius regime through the superposition of projected masses. The paper also makes explicit the logical status of its claims by distinguishing between ontologicalprimitives, derived results, emergent macroscopic matching relations, regime-level postulates, and gen-uinely open problems. The framework treats established physics as a high-precision observational map, while asking whether that map can be generated from a smaller pre-observational ontology. In thissense, the work is not presented as a finished total theory, but as a structured physical program: onein which mass is observed projection, distance is cycle-counted propagation, space is defined locally bythe superposition of projected masses, and motion is governed by energetic gradient over that projectedbackground.A central methodological consequence follows: a reproducible observable is treated as a stable outputof a process-lens coupling, not automatically as an ontological primitive. The same physical processinterrogated through the same observational lens will reproduce the same chart; the task of the theoryis to recover the process beneath that chart.
