Precise Prediction of El Niño–Southern Oscillation by Light Speed Critical Field Theory: Field Equation Derivation and Climatic Impact of the 2026 Super El Niño Event

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: Based on a novel fundamental physical theory—Light Speed Critical Field Theory(LS-CFT)—and the unified field dynamics framework constructed from its single axiom, this paper develops a bottom‑up physical model for large‑scale oscillationsin the Earth’s climate system. Departing from the traditional climate prediction paradigm that relies on statistical fitting, empirical parameterization and multi‑source model assimilation, this work proceeds entirely from first principles.By solving the eigen‑vibrational modes of the solar‑system interstellar coupling field and the core–mantle coupling field via the general LS-CFT field equations, a global dominant oscillation period of 5.9 ± 0.2 years is rigorously derived for the Earthsystem. This intrinsic period is a physical eigen‑period jointly constrained by vacuum curvature coupling and the boundary conditions of the Earth’s layers, rather than a statistically fitted climatic signal. It can physically modulate the phase locking, amplitude amplification and decadal evolution of the El Niño–Southern Oscillation (ENSO). A three‑level coupled forced harmonic oscillator model of the universe–planet–ocean–atmosphere system is constructed. By inserting accuratefour‑dimensional boundary conditions for 2026—the solar activity cycle maximum, planetary gravitational curvature perturbations, the phase of Earth’s internal field, and the subsurface heat content of the equatorial Pacific—the deterministic evolution sequence of the ENSO system during 2026–2028 is obtained via high‑precision fourth‑order Runge–Kutta numerical integration.
