Abstract: The visualization of processes in a dust-laden atmospheric plasma during the initiation of lightning discharges is considered. An analysis of the relaxation times of characteristic kinetic processes required for the formation of the radiative visual pattern of a lightning discharge is carried out. An algorithm is developed for the reconstruction of rapidly forming spectral images of lightning discharges. An attempt is made to develop new instrumental methods for analysis and control in solving inverse problems of reconstructing geometric images of the physical objects under study.
