Argentatins exert anti-adipogenic and anti-inflammatory effects on 3T3-L1 cells under inflammatory conditions
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: • Argentatins A and B reduce intracellular lipid accumulation without exhibiting cytotoxicity in 3T3-L1 adipocytes. • Argentatin A increases SIRT1 levels and exerts anti-inflammatory effects. • Argentatin B reduces levels of the pro-inflammatory adipokine resistin. • Argentatin B downregulates PPARγ and C/EBPα expression. • Both argentatins exhibit distinct anti-adipogenic and anti-inflammatory activities.
