Abstract: Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the factors affecting technology addiction levels among nursesMethod: Designed as a descriptive study, the research was conducted with 161 nurses working at a state hospital. Data were collected using the Personal Information Form and the Technology Addiction Scale. Descriptive statistics and appropriate inferential analyses were employed to examine the relationships between technology addiction levels and sociodemographic and occupational variables. Results: Among the participants, 58.4% were female, 52.2% were aged between 26 and 40 years, and 60.2% held a bachelor’s degree. Additionally, 32.3% reported spending 5–6 hours per day on social networking platforms. The mean Technology Addiction Scale score was 69.603, indicating a moderate level of technology addiction. Statistical analyses revealed that gender, substance use, years of professional experience, and duration of social network use had significant effects on technology addiction levels among nurses. Conclusion: The findings indicate that nurses experience a moderate level of technology addiction, influenced by both demographic and behavioral factors. It is recommended that all determinants of technology addiction among nurses be comprehensively addressed and that policymakers and healthcare planners implement appropriate preventive and intervention strategies accordingly.
