The Constant D as a Natural Stability Threshold for Friedmann Spacetimes
Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: We conjecture that the mathematical constant D = Sum 1/(2*n!+1) approximately 0.96895 (OEIS A396384) may serve as a natural stability threshold for Friedmann spacetimes in the context of Temple et al. (2026). We derive D from first principles via the de Sitter horizon degeneracy, connect it to the LQC modified Friedmann equation, and propose that 1-D approximately 0.031 represents the distance to the Temple instability.
