Exact Linearity of the Contracted Pure-Axial Torsionful α-Surface Transport

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: This paper explains why the contracted pure‑axial torsionful α‑surface equation is exactly linear in the projected axial field. Using representation theory, it shows that pure axial torsion lies in D(1/2,1/2), so its quadratic contribution cannot populate the anti‑self‑dual Weyl module D(0,2). As a result, all algebraic quadratic torsion terms vanish before contraction, and Esposito’s integrability condition reduces to the projectively covariant operator PT(4)=DAYA−ξAYA with coefficient −i/2. For dual‑recurrent dyads, integrability forces principal alignment and yields two scalar transport channels. The result clarifies the exactness of the contracted identity without implying global linearity of the full torsionful geometry.
