Year: 2025
Type: article
Abstract: The overall aim of the implementation and evaluation of the EWS was to assess the operational performance of the MotherHeat Alert app and to achieve knowledge change concerning heat-health risks among 60 health workers, in three diverse settings: South Africa (urban, mostly informal), Zimbabwe (rural) and Sweden (urban). This report, deliverable D4.7, focusses specifically on assessing the uptake of the MotherHeat Alert by community health workers (CHWs) as well as facility based health workers and describes the implementation of an EWS among health workers in South Africa and Zimbabwe.
