Abstract: Replication Data for: "Ethylene-bridged Periodic Mesoporous Organosilica Nanoparticles: controlling architecture through mechanistic investigations." This dataset supports the article with the same name published in Materials Today Communications (doi:10.1016/j.mtcomm.2026.116273) This dataset provides transmission electron micrographs, X Ray diffraction data and sorption analysis data of a series of periodic mesoporous organosilica synthesized under various conditions. In the article, ethylene-bridged Periodic Mesoporous Organosilica nanoparticles (Et-nanoPMOs) are prepared with various mesostructures. Et-nanoPMOs can be obtained with a distorted cubic arrangement of spherical pores, a Pm3n arrangement of spherical pores, or a 2D hexagonal arrangement of cyclindrical pores depending on the amount of co-surfactant introduced during the synthesis. After elucidating the nucleation-growth mechanism, a delayed addition of co-surfactant enabled the synthesis of multipodal nanostructures.
