Living Architecture: Self-Repairing Structure Design Based on Koku-Universe and Genki-Particle Principles
Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: Modern architecture is dead — cracks end it, no self-repair, no growth, no sensation. This paper proposes Living Architecture where Koku-Universe (piezoelectric carbon fiber scaffold) and Genki-Particle (self-healing biocomposite + mycelium) interact. Piezoelectric fibers sense damage and generate repair signals. Bacillus pasteurii biocement seals cracks autonomously (Jonkers et al. 2010). Mycelium scaffold: living walls that absorb CO2, insulate, and return to soil. Space station: piezoelectric jungle gym + self-healing polymer; cosmic rays drive repair system. Lunar construction: bring skeleton from Earth, local regolith (Genki-Particle) wraps it — D approaches zero. Mars construction: same principle with Mars regolith. V=N/D: N=fiber density integral, D=external repair cost, V=functional lifespan per intervention. Twelfth paper. TheYKHC 2026.
