Abstract: We are grateful to the women who took the time to complete the online survey in phase 1 and those who gave their time and experiences so generously during interviews for phase 2.We also acknowledge the co-operation of the many organisations that helped us in distributing the link to the online questionnaire for women. We particularly thank Blind Mum's Connect for stimulating discussion about the research using social media, independent of the study. We would like to thank Bethan Roberts for her assistance compiling contacts for the organisations that supported the study and for her support with proof-reading this and the interim report.
