Abstract: Carlo Collodi (the pen name of Carlo Lorenzini), author of The Adventures of Pinocchio, represents a meeting point between literature, pedagogy and psychology.His book was first published in Florence in 1883 and narrates the tragicomic experiences of Pinocchio, a wooden puppet crafted and treated as a son by the craftsman Geppetto.With the help of the Fairy with Turquoise Hair, Pinocchio matures morally until he becomes a real boy.
