Naturalistic Manipulation of Social Navigation

Abstract: In this longitudinal online study, we will use the Social Navigation Task (Tavares et al., 2015, Neuron) and the Trust Game (Fareri et al., 2015, The Journal of Neuroscience) to study how a simulated negative social relationship changes following attempts to improve it. Data will be collected from a sample of n=770 participants using the crowdsourcing platform Prolific. Study procedures will occur over three consecutive days, with a follow-up assessment one week later.
