Antibodies Cross-Reactive with Bundibugyo Virus in Ferrets Vaccinated with Ebola Virus Vaccine

Abstract: Banked serum samples from ferrets previously immunized with the Ebola virus vaccine revealed a prominent but limited humoral immune response that cross-reacted with Bundibugyo virus. The supporting immunogenicity data we report may help guide the ongoing response to the current outbreak of Bundibugyo virus in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
