Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This article investigates typological similarities of moral and aesthetic concepts in English and Uzbek literature. It focuses on honor, beauty, love, justice, freedom, and responsibility as concepts that organize literary meaning across cultures. The study refers to the theoretical views of Khalida Mamatkulova on universal concepts and the national worldview in literary texts. The article argues that moral and aesthetic concepts provide a bridge between English and Uzbek literary traditions because they express common human values while preserving different cultural codes.
