Dark Components as Informational Fields in Discrete Geometric Physics: Geometric Derivation of Dark Matter and Dark Energy from the 26 Vertex Cubic Lattice

Year: 2026
Type: article
Abstract: This work presents a complete geometric derivation of dark matter and dark energy within the framework of Discrete Geometric Physics (DGP), based on the unified base theory established in Volumes 1 & 2. We demonstrate that the dark components are not exotic entities but informational states of the 26‑vertex cubic lattice – emergent phenomena arising directly from lattice geometry and its topological invariants. Dark matter is identified as the tension of diagonal bonds (vertices with weight wV=1/4wV=1/4), which creates an effective gravitational field. The density profile follows from the hierarchical law a(r)=a0exp⁡(−GM/(c2r2+a02))a(r)=a0exp(−GM/(c2r2+a02)) and yields flat rotation curves in agreement with observations to within <2%. Dark energy is explained as informational pressure generated by bounce cycles on the outer shell of the Universe at hierarchy level N=205N=205. While the absolute density ρDEρDE is fixed from observations (as in the base theory), the equation of state parameter wDE=−1.03wDE=−1.03 is a rigorous derivation from the bounce dynamics, with all intermediate steps shown explicitly (Section 3.2). The derivation proceeds from the pressure of a single bounce cycle, sums over all contributing hierarchy levels N=116,…,205N=116,…,205, and includes a resonance correction at N=205N=205, yielding wDE=−1.0300wDE=−1.0300, in agreement with DESI (−1.03±0.03−1.03±0.03). All numerical parameters are derived from the same geometric invariants as the base theory: · Σw=14Σw=14 · θ=arcsin⁡(1/3)≈35.264∘θ=arcsin(1/3)≈35.264∘ · ϕ=(1+5)/2≈1.618034ϕ=(1+5)/2≈1.618034 · Ftop=0.088534Ftop=0.088534 · ηcrit=0.328ηcrit=0.328 · γ=wV/Σw=1/56γ=wV/Σw=1/56 Key corrected parameters (aligned with Volumes 1 & 2): · Present cosmological epoch: N=204N=204 · Gravitational basis (supernova bounce): N=116N=116 · Dark energy bounce shell: N=205N=205 · Coherence length: λcoh=9.3968 m=56⋅a(113)λcoh=9.3968m=56⋅a(113) · Fundamental optical scale: λ0=766.490234 nmλ0=766.490234nm with k=1.092k=1.092 · Hubble tension resolved via Geff(N)=G⋅22(116−N)Geff(N)=G⋅22(116−N), yielding H0(204)=67.4 km/s/MpcH0(204)=67.4km/s/Mpc and H0(142)=73.0 km/s/MpcH0(142)=73.0km/s/Mpc The theory provides testable predictions including discrete gravitational wave signals (f0∼10–100 Hzf0∼10–100Hz, ε∼0.018ε∼0.018), the twiston spectral line at 766.490234 nm, a gamma line at 16.755 MeV, 21‑cm anomalies at 1.68 μeV, and deviations from ΛCDM at large scales (ΩGW(f)∝f−2/3ΩGW(f)∝f−2/3). Stability under parameter variation (±10% in ηcritηcrit, FtopFtop, NN) is confirmed to <0.5% for all derived quantities. This work completes the geometric theory of dark components within DGP, demonstrating that the 95% of the Universe's content previously attributed to unknown entities arises naturally from the informational structure of the lattice.
