Abstract: This is the preregistration for Study 1 of the Wouch validation programme. It specifies, in advance of data collection, the hypotheses and analysis plan for the first empirical evaluation of the relationship-readiness instrument described in three companion papers (Readiness-First Framework, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20612823; Safety-Gate Architecture, DOI 10.17605/OSF.IO/S7RU3; Two-Key Gating, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.20760536). The instrument produces, for each user, a Bayesian posterior over latent readiness-related constructs with explicit uncertainty. This feasibility study tests the instrument’s structure, its convergent and discriminant validity against established measures, its short-term test–retest stability, and its preliminary ability to predict relational outcomes. Results will be reported regardless of direction, including null findings.
