Abstract: The Constraint Field: A Generative Reinterpretation of Dark Matter proposes that the phenomena currently attributed to dark matter are better understood as expressions of a constraint‑density field generated by the coherence architecture of the universe. Instead of treating dark matter as an undiscovered particle or modifying gravitational laws, the paper reframes the anomalies—galactic rotation curves, gravitational lensing, and cosmic‑web structure—as outputs of a generative operator that shapes curvature through distributed constraint rather than mass. This structural reinterpretation explains why dark matter behaves non‑locally, interacts only gravitationally, and forms large‑scale scaffolding without particulate properties. By grounding cosmological behavior in operator theory rather than hypothetical matter, the paper offers a unified account of galactic stability, cosmic structure formation, and curvature dynamics that resolves longstanding tensions between observation and particle‑based models.
