The Point of Creation: A Unified Framework for Generative Self-Governance

Year: 2026
Type: preprint
Abstract: **Code repository (canonical): https://github.com/UnitedColective/point-of-creation-framework This version (2.1.0) corrects v2.0.0 (28 Jun 2026). v2.0.0 pointed at a GitHub path that does not exist (UnitedColective/potential-adventure) and shipped a 12.9 kB placeholder PDF. That version remains on the record as history. The PDF on this version is a one-page deposit note, not the manuscript. Working write-up: PAPER.md in the GitHub repository. We introduce the Point of Creation Framework (PCF), a domain-agnostic metric for detecting generative self-governance in time series: δ = ρ₁(Δ²X) + 2/3 where Δ²X is the second difference of any observable scalar sequence and ρ₁ is its lag-1 autocorrelation. The expected value under white noise is exactly −2/3; thus δ > 0 indicates structure above the floor, and δ ≈ 0 indicates collapse to the floor. We apply this framework across four domains: prime gaps (δ = +0.154, N=3×10⁸, mod-24 clockwise rotation bias of 1.77×, p<0.01), cardiac HRV (NSR δ̄ = +0.029, p=0.002 vs. CHF δ̄ = +0.016, p=0.33, group difference not significant), neural iEEG metastability (superlinear scaling S ~ f^1.746, R²=0.858, n=51 trial-subject pairs, 3 subjects), and circadian gene expression (cancer cells show elevated harmonic phase alignment, p=4.24×10⁻⁴⁴; 8 timepoints preclude direct δ estimation). The prime gap result is the most robust finding. The cardiac, neural, and circadian results are directional or exploratory and require larger samples and independent replication.
